I made this work before the winter finals in 2023. I lived with my roommate Gabby and she and I would sit at the kitchen table until the early morning hours, perfecting our work. I made this work out of a feeling of resistance. I did not want to get trapped in a cycle or fall through the societal cracks of college, so I made this piece in defiance of the burnout and exhaustion. This work was a symbol of hope.
