This piece was important to me because the original piece consumed from my undergrad no longer represented myself or my skills. In this reimagining “from the inside,” I explore feelings of being trapped, overwhelmed, and hopeless. I feel a supreme lack of control. I felt like I was both consuming my surroundings and being consumed by them. I felt that every day was unbearable, but the silence was even worse.
